The surge in public interest is attributed to the collapse of three banks: Silvergate Bank, Signature Bank, and Silicon Valley Bank. People have also expressed concerns about other banks, including Pacwest Bancorp, First Republic Bank, and the Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse.
